Are you interested in applying to become a UKAS Lay/Patient representative assessor?
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) currently assess a number of healthcare accreditation schemes: diagnostic imaging, physiological services and medical pathology services. We currently successfully include Lay/Patient representative assessors on the diagnostic imaging scheme and plan to extend this role into other healthcare accreditation areas in the near future.
If you would like to be considered for recruitment and training to become a Lay/Patient representative assessor on one or more of our healthcare schemes then please send us a copy of your CV so that we can contact you with more information when a suitable opportunity becomes available.
For information, you should ideally be educated to first degree equivalent level and have experience of healthcare tests/investigations and or be a member of a local or national Lay/Patient representative organisation.
